Casa Sonrisa is a five-bedroom villa on the 18th hole of Club Campestre San José, the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course in the hills above San José del Cabo. Across roughly 6,000 sq ft, it looks out over the fairway to the Sea of Cortez. The colonial centre of San José del Cabo, with its galleries, restaurants and mission church, is a short drive away. Daily housekeeping is included and a car is recommended.

The main living area opens onto the outdoor terraces, with a full kitchen, coffee maker, indoor dining, TV and stereo. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, washer, dryer and an in-room safe throughout.

Outdoor living centres on a heated pool and hot tub with golf course and ocean views. There is an outdoor lounge with a fire pit and TV, a sun day bed, patio dining, a BBQ and grill area, a garden and an outdoor shower, plus a rooftop deck for sunset over the Sea of Cortez.

Primary Suite: King bed, ocean view, terrace, shower, TV; Second Suite: King bed, shower, TV; Third Suite: Queen bed, shower, TV; Fourth Suite: King bed, shower; Fifth Suite: Full bed, shower, private entrance. The lower-level den has two full-size murphy beds for up to four additional guests, at US$100 per night paid directly at the property.
