Why this villa works

Villa Miramar is a four-bedroom villa with a bonus room on the Pacific side of Pedregal, the gated community above Cabo San Lucas. Across roughly 5,800 sq ft, its terraces step down the hillside through tropical landscaping, with views over the Pacific, the beaches and toward Land’s End — and, in season, migrating whales. Downtown Cabo San Lucas, its restaurants and the marina are minutes away. Daily housekeeping is included, a private chef can be arranged, and a car is recommended.

The main living, dining and kitchen area opens onto an ocean-view terrace. Inside are travertine marble floors, a gourmet kitchen with a bar and water filtration system, a fireplace, an exercise room, and satellite TV, DVD and stereo. Questions about Villa Miramar

How many guests does Villa Miramar sleep?
Up to 12. The four suites have four king beds and one queen (the Third Suite has both a king and a queen), and the bonus room has a queen bed. The penthouse suite has an optional separate entrance and its own kitchen.
Can you walk to the beach, and is it swimmable?
The villa looks over the Pacific beaches below Pedregal. That side is good for sunbathing and beachcombing, but big Pacific waves make it unsafe for swimming. Médano Beach on the bay side, a short drive away, is the place to swim.
Is Villa Miramar suitable for guests who prefer to avoid stairs?
It is a multi-level home with terraces cascading down the hillside, so there are stairs throughout. Tell us if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
Is there anything else we should know?
The Pedregal hillside has a small colony of stray domestic cats that occasionally wander onto villa terraces. Housekeeping is included daily, and a private chef can be arranged at extra cost.
