About This Villa

Why this villa works

Casa Cielito Del Mar is an 8-bedroom oceanfront villa on Chileno Bay, on the Los Cabos Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. It sleeps up to 20 across eight suites, each with its own bathroom, and is currently the only villa on our list positioned directly on Chileno Bay.

The location is the reason to choose it. Chileno is one of the few Corridor beaches where the water is reliably calm enough to swim and snorkel from shore, and the villa sits right on it, with the Sea of Cortez in view from the main living areas, the pool terrace and the primary suite. For a large family or a multi-generation group that wants a beach they can actually use, rather than just look at, that matters more than any single amenity.

Inside, the house is finished in flagstone floors and contemporary furnishings, with a full kitchen and marble bathrooms. Outside, a wide pool terrace faces the bay. A private chef can be arranged on request, and concierge support is available throughout your stay.

Indoor Living

The main living areas run open-plan across the ground floor, with flagstone floors, contemporary furnishings and large windows framing Chileno Bay. A full kitchen serves the house and can accommodate a private chef when one is booked. Bathrooms are finished in marble. Air conditioning and wireless internet are provided throughout, and there is on-site parking.

Outdoor Living

The pool terrace is the centre of the property: a private pool facing the bay, lounge seating, an outdoor dining area and a hammock strung between the palms. From here the beach is directly in front of the house. Chileno Bay is a protected, sandy bay with calm water most of the year, which is why it is one of the Corridor's best-known snorkelling spots. Kayaks are available at the villa for use on the bay. We can confirm current conditions and any seasonal notes for your dates when you inquire.

Bedrooms

Eight suites sleep up to 20, each with a private bathroom. The primary suite has its own terrace facing the bay. The remaining suites are arranged for couples and families travelling together, and the bathroom count runs to eight full plus a half bath. We are confirming the bed configuration for each suite and will list it room by room; ask us when you inquire if your group needs a particular mix of king and twin beds.

Unlike much of the Corridor, Chileno is a protected bay with calm water most of the year, so it is one of the few beaches in the area where swimming and snorkelling from shore are the norm rather than the exception. Where is Chileno Bay, and how far is it from town?
Chileno Bay sits on the Tourist Corridor roughly midway between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, about 15 to 20 minutes by car from either. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is around 35 to 40 minutes away. The bay has a public beach with a marine reserve just offshore, which is why it is a favourite for snorkelling.
