Why this villa works

Casa Hidalgo is a 12-bedroom beachfront estate on the Los Cabos Corridor, in the Costa Brava community midway between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. At roughly 28,800 sq ft across three separate buildings, it sleeps up to 32 — the joint-largest capacity on our Los Cabos list.

The three buildings — Brisas, Elisa and Tequileras — are what make it work at this scale. Each holds four suites, so several families, a wedding party or a retreat can have genuine separation and still share the pools, terraces and dining areas. Multiple kitchens mean a private chef can cook for the full group without taking over the main living space.

It is genuinely beachfront, with direct beach access and uninterrupted Sea of Cortez views from the ocean-facing terraces. The grounds carry multiple pool areas and a hot tub, fire-pit lounges, a tennis court, landscaped gardens and lawns, and a sauna and steam room. Being mid-Corridor, a car is recommended — Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are each a short drive in either direction.

Indoor Living

The estate runs over multiple levels across three buildings, with open, flowing layouts angled to the water and natural materials throughout. Expansive living and dining areas anchor the main building, and there are multiple kitchens — practical at this group size, and the reason a private chef can work without displacing guests from the main living space. Indoor dining, a bar and a wine fridge support entertaining. On the wellness side the estate has a gym and fitness room, a sauna and steam rooms, and spa-style relaxation areas across the grounds. Bed linens, towels, laundry with washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, ceiling fans, wireless internet and televisions are provided throughout. The estate sits in a gated neighbourhood with safes, a carbon monoxide detector and a first aid kit on site. Housekeeping is included, there is 24/7 concierge support, and a caretaker may be on site during your stay.

Outdoor Living

Outdoor living is the point of this estate. Ocean-facing terraces run the length of the property, with multiple pool areas including a heated pool and a hot tub, fire-pit lounges, and shaded seating under palapas, pergolas and umbrellas. There is a full tennis court, landscaped gardens and lawns, an outdoor dining area with a BBQ and grill, an outdoor shower, and lounge chairs set out by the water. The beach is directly accessible from the property. Bedrooms

Twelve suites sleep up to 32 across three separate buildings, each suite with its own private bathroom. Brisas holds four: the Primary Suite with a king bed, ocean view, walk-in closet and a bathroom with both tub and shower, alongside Luna, Sol and Estrella with two queen beds each. Elisa holds four — three oceanfront king suites with balconies (Marlin, Estrella and Caballito) plus the bunk room. Tequileras holds four balcony suites, each with a television and minibar: Don Julio and Jose Cuervo with king beds, Patron and Cazadores with two queens each. That comes to six king suites, five suites with two queen beds, and the bunk room. Maximum occupancy is 32; the bunk room is flexible space within that figure rather than an addition to it, which makes it useful for families travelling with children.
