Why this villa works

La Casa Decker — recently upgraded and formerly known as Villa Carolina — is a comfortable, well-located villa in gated Pedregal, on the marina side of Cabo San Lucas. Its biggest draw is the location: it is about three blocks from downtown and the marina, so restaurants, shops, nightlife and the fishing charters are an easy walk. Three king bedrooms, all en-suite, sleep up to 6, and the central living area opens straight onto the terrace and pool. With Sea of Cortez, hillside and city views and mature landscaping, it is an easy, walkable base for a family or a group of friends.

Indoor Living

Inside, La Casa Decker has an authentic Mexican style — warm décor and colorful accents throughout. The main villa holds two of the bedrooms plus the central living area, which opens directly onto the outdoor terrace so the inside and outside flow together. The third bedroom is detached, with its own entrance for extra privacy — useful for a couple sharing with friends or older kids. All three bedrooms have new king beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. A full kitchen serves the villa, with air conditioning and wireless internet throughout.

Outdoor Living

The outdoor space is built for easy days in the Baja sun: a large pool with room to actually swim laps, a hot tub alongside, and a shaded palapa for getting out of the midday heat. There is a BBQ for cooking and a terrace for dining and lounging, wrapped in the villa’s mature landscaping. The outlook takes in the Sea of Cortez, the Pedregal hillsides and the city below — and on some evenings you can catch Cabo’s fireworks from the terrace.

Bedrooms

Three bedrooms sleep up to 6, all with new king beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. Two are in the main villa, and the third is detached with its own private entrance — a good setup for a couple sharing with friends who want a bit of separation. The villa has 3.5 bathrooms in total.

Very close — it is about three blocks from downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina, so restaurants, shops, nightlife and the fishing charters are an easy walk. It is one of the more walkable villa locations in Pedregal.
Where can you swim nearby?
The villa has a large pool and a hot tub on site. Pedregal’s own beach is under a mile away but it is a Pacific beach — better for walking than swimming. For calm, swimmable water, you can catch a water taxi from the marina to Médano Beach or Lover’s Beach.
Was this villa called something else before?
Yes — La Casa Decker was previously known as Villa Carolina. It is under new ownership and was recently upgraded, including new king beds in all three en-suite bedrooms.
Anything good to know before booking?
The Pedregal hillsides are home to a small colony of friendly stray cats that occasionally wander onto the terraces — worth knowing if anyone in your group has allergies or a strong preference either way. Otherwise the villa is fully self-contained with 24/7 concierge and housekeeping.
